CT scan from 04/12/2022 has been reported as showing stable appearances compared to the previous CT scan of March 2022. The PET scan in July identified disease in lymph glands in the chest and both adrenal glands, but these areas were not particularly enlarged at that stage and do not appear to have changed in size.
The plan would be to go ahead with the 4th cycle of Carboplatin/Gemcitabine next week, providing Gerald's blood tests are satisfactory when they are processed later today. That will be the final cycle of chemotherapy in this treatment block. Gerald will then have a break off treatment, with a repeat CT scan and clinic appointment in 3 months.
If Gerrys lung cancer progresses he would be eligible for Sotorasib or Docetaxel/Nintedanib.
