Hello to all
Tomorrow after what seems a very long wait, Iam scheduled to have a lung biopsy in order to reveal what this thing in my chest actually is. Not doing well at all, shaking uncontrollably at times because I know the news is not good, the question is, how bad. Mets in several places.
Can some kind soul tell me what it is like to have a CT guided biopsy?
With thanks
Greengirl
Hi Greengirl, I know how scary all this must be for you. I’ve not had a ct guided biopsy, but hopefully someone else will be along shortly to talk you through it.
Good luck for tomorrow.
Hi Greengirl.
Apologies. Hit send button in mid flow. I had an
endoscopic biopsy in my lung 2 years ago which was not the best experience, but also had a biopsy on part of my neck at a later date. They inserted a hollow needle and took sample. To my amazement it was pain free. Hope all goes well tomorrow.
