Dear friends,
I am writing to ask about other people’s experiences with brain metastasis from lung cancer. My father was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer two years ago.
He was doing really well with Erlotinib but the he started losing feeling in arms and legs, struggling to walk, write, read. Two tumours have been found. He will have radiotherapy (cyber knife) for three days.
He is so, so weak. It is frightening beyond anything I have experienced to see him suffering so much. The fatigue is awful. He is suffering so much.
I would really love to hear about other people’s experiences. What to expect after radiotherapy, how I can help, what it feels like, anything so I can be more prepared to help someone I love so much.
thank you so much xx
