Hi

It's been a while since I last posted. Bowel and secondary liver cancer 23/24 made it back to work, cancer-free, after chemo and two lots of surgery, but at 18 months, clear on surveillance scan, found lesions on liver. So, back to Chemo, which finished on August 25, then ablation on two lesions, but the third one was too close to the stomach and blood vessels, so now waiting for SABAR radiotherapy. Have found that process so hard and had to be rescanned as the images were not clear enough to plan radiotherapy. Feeling flat now as it's been delayed, and hoped that I was almost ready to go back to work.

  • Hi

I’m Anne, one of the Community Champions here on the Online Community and, although I'm not a member of this group, I noticed that your post hadn't had any replies yet. Responding to you will 'bump' it back to the top of the discussion list again.

If you don't get any replies here, it might be an idea to also post in the bowel cancer group as I'm sure you'll find people there who have liver secondaries.

While you're waiting for replies, it would be great if you could put something about your diagnosis and proposed treatment into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
