Hello,
I need some advice about some symptoms I have. I’m concerned that my GP is being too slow in doing my bloods. I’m really quite concerned.
HB is low & only in the green 2 x in 12 months
MVC is low has been for 12 months
MCH is low has been for 12 months
Sweating & hot more than usual
Extreme Tiredness
Aching pain in my body (stiffness)
Weight loss? (Partner thinks so)
New cough
Watery stools 85% of the time
Bloated stomach & it hurts
Bruising on my lower legs & thighs that doesn’t hurt, in random places & without cause
Lump on boob been there for AGES & looks different
Sore mouth & tongue all the time
Low iron levels
Eyes going blurry
Dry mouth
Changes in urine colour & smell
Bad liver & kidney function test before
Bad brain fog
What do you think about these symptoms? Should I push the doctor to investigate further £ quicker?
I’ve been having these symptoms for a good few months but more recently been feeling really unwell like something isn’t right.
I look forward to hearing from you
Kind regards.
Nichola
Hi Nichola NF221182a14e and a warm welcome to this corner of the Community although I am sorry to see you joining us and to hear about your concerns.
I am Mike and I help out around our various blood cancer groups.
The simple answer to your main question is YES…… you do need to get back to your GP and present your list if symptoms……. there are reasons for these happening and you need your GP to look first answers.
It’s interesting that you have landed in the Leukaemia groups…… I am rather sure that you have been doing an intervener search and Leukaemia came up,
I don’t have Leukaemia but have been in my journey for 25 years with 2 very rare types of T-Cell Non Hodgkin’s Lymphomas.
My first type was diagnosed in 1999/2000….. my only symptom was a developing rash on my back…. bloods were clear (actually I have never had a blood test in all my 25 years that pointed to me having Lymphoma)…… my CTs were clear and it took a full year and 6 biopsies to get the pathology to confirm my type of Lymphoma.
My second type of Lymphoma was presenting as a small developing lump in my neck, this was in late 2013…… a biopsy and CT confirmed my second type confirming I was stage 4……. But a few years treatment later I was put into remission and I am now coming up to 10 years since my last treatment.
As I said I had none of the symptoms you have on your list leading up to my diagnosis….. apart from the lump in late 2013…… but I did have a lot of the symptoms on your list once I started treatment as these are often side effects of treatment.
You do need to set up camp in your GPs office and look for answers.
Always around to chat ((hugs))
