Hi , this is my first time writing on here although I’ve been reading posts for a few months now. I’m ten days post op and still very tender and swollen. I was just wondering if anyone has had a successful critical illness payout for this condition? I believe my tumour was at least 6cms and the plan was to remove only the tumour but as it was growing into the main artery going into my kidney it was best to remove the whole kidney. I’ve tried looking online but can find very little info on critical illness payouts and what criteria needs to be met to get it so I thought I would see if anyone on here has been successful in getting it? Many thanks in advance.
Hi, I would be interested to know this too as I have a policy in place and was also wondering
Ask you provider, many newer policies
do have critical illness others pay out when
Terminal.
I know I have critical illness I’m just trying to see what other people’s experience is of getting a payout. I will be talking to someone from Macmillan once I get my results back from my consultant so I can get advise but I just wanted to know if people had successfully claimed and what stage they needed to qualify. My insurance company won’t tell me anything until I have results.
