Hello
I'm currently undergoing immunotherapy treatment and have already had 3 treatments. I've noticed that within 10 days after treatment I come down with flu. The first time wasn't too bad and didn't linger, but the last two treatments it seems to linger for a bit longer. I get a head cold, cough and just full of cold. It's getting me down a bit as well.
Is this a normal side effect from treatment? Is this what to expect each time? Any advice on best way to treat it would be really helpful.
Thank you.
I’ve have lots of symptoms from it and the levatanib but nothing too bad. I get “chemo flu” occasionally but not regularly and certainly nothing to ever mark against a date of administration of drugs. Just have to cope as it has done wonders for me so far.
I guess I get 60% of the side effects on the drug sheet. Most important is to monitor temperature as you will have been told
