Good morning all, I had my right kidney removed on 14th Sept due to a 5cm mass. I recovered well and pleased to report that I had my biopsy results last Friday. The consultant said it was a rare cancer, which my husband and I dreaded the worst, but was told it was a Chromophobe cancer and no further treatment is required. To say I’m beyond relieved is an understatement!!!
I’m now going to take my time and slowly build up my fitness levels.
I’m so glad I found this forum as chatting to people pre op was a great reassurance with advice etc and what to expect.
Wishing everyone all the best for your upcoming surgery/ recovery/treatment post op. Thank you so much x
