Hi all,

Could anyone tell me how long it takes for Histology to process my kidney and the Tumour? I was told 4-6 weeks, then it went up to 8. I know I'm still in my time bracket.

I ask this respectfully, I truly appreciate everything the NHS has done for me. Think I'm just a little impatient!

The kidney was removed on the 1st of May.

    Hi, I got my results one month and a day after my operation. I guess it depends on how busy they are and it is possible that suspected grade, tumour size and risk factors influence priority. I hope you get your results soon.

  • You can always ring the surgeons secretary in case your results are on the system already.

Help us do whatever it takes, because we’ve never been needed more.
