Hi everyone it’s just a query if anyone has heard of this Soursop fruit? my husband who has metastatic kidney cancer that is also grown into his lungs has just shown me an article on the benefits of it, I honestly have no idea but was wondering if anyone has tried it? I aim to check with the medical team before he tries it but it does sound as if it has some benefits? I’m just proper curious, thanks in advance

Hi Linzilou
I'm not a member of this forum but noticed that your post hadn't had any replies yet. Responding to you will 'bump' it back to the top of the discussion list.
I have searched the group for previous posts which mention Soursop but haven't found any I'm afraid.
While you're waiting for replies, it would be great if you could put something about your husband's diagnosis and treatment to date into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
Hey Linzi did you try this in the end and have you noticed any benefits?
I gave soursop to my mum as part of a smoothie & we both really enjoyed the taste (goes nicely with mango and coconut water). Taking all the seeds out is quite the task though. I hope your husband is doing well. Sending love and light x
