Grade

I don't think size is always an indicator for grade. You can get small aggressive tumors that metastasise relatively quickly and large tumors that are slow growing and haven't metastasised. 

Ye thanks. Mine did not get out of kidney but nethertheless was big which makes me think ‘fast growing’ but just lucky it didn’t spread but ye i get your point , thanks 

Mine was 12cm but is grade4. So size does not matter.

Oh right so I guess your tumour was quite large aswell and you had the high grade , you are doing well though 

Yes, mine was only about 6cm but high grade (quite aggressive) so having more frequent CT scans and on Pembrolizumab (immunotherapy).

Hi mine was 15.5 cm & I also did not get a grading but will find out in due course. 

Mine had to be taken out by opening my side up & I then had infections so it had to be reopened again & heal by itself so I have to go to gp every day to have dressings done & at least 4 months off work so it's very stressful at the moment . But hopefully it's all gone & now the wait for scans & blood tests every 3 months as mine was a rare cancer . 

Stay positive is now my motto . But its hard though
