I had an ultrasound led kidney biopsy yesterday and was worried that I would spoil it by coughing or my BP would be too high to proceed. As it turned out it was all done so quickly by professional and caring staff at Worthing hospital that I need not have worried. It was almost painless, just a tiny bit of stinging from the local anaesthetic. I didn't have and didn't need sedation.i spent 4 hours on a ward 2 hours of which I had to lay flat then I was allowed to go home with 2 more days taking it easy.
So if anyone is due to undergo the same procedure please don't worry about it
