Hi all,
Does anyone have experience of Bench Surgery? Sorry to bother you with this but there doesn't seem to be much information out there on it.
It sounds like a pretty dramatic procedure and I wondered how long it takes to get over it?
Just to make it all the more daunting, I'll need two operations as both my kidneys are in a mess. I've had two partial nephrectomies via keyhole surgery but the lumps keep coming back (I've now got 16). So it's beyind the art of the possible for keyhole surgery now, and Bench Surgery is, apparently, the only option left on the table. I had hoped the oncologist would save me from the surgeons knfe, but alas has said he can do nothing to help me.
If anyone has any experience / advice I'd be most grateful.
Thanks everyone.
I don't have experience with Bench Surgery but noticed that your post hadn't had any replies yet. Responding to you will 'bump' it back to the top of the discussion list where it'll be more easily spotted.
Wishing you all the best
