Hi , will certainly keep every thing crossed for you
It would b great if it shrank the brain met.
Yup. Need that to happen need something. Problem with steroids I am on sleep doesn’t happen getting 3 hours a night not good as chronically tired but nothing I can do face getting puffy as expected too and belly got bigger but loving food at the moment so enjoying it
Doe it make any difference @piper952 when you take the steroids?
I'm only on 0..5mg/ day but I make sure I take them in a morning.
Hi , how did the gammaknife go?
Sue
High dose steroids had to take high steroid for as long enough TIL radiotherapy until start and re starts going to reduce them
Crikey. Much more than my dose obviously
All a bit surreal at present. Was admitted to hospital as mobility deteriorated, eyesight double and breathing issues.
had CT and MRI. Progression of disease???
upped steroids from 2mg now on 12mg to try and get symptoms of swelling under control. Been referred to palliative care at hospice. Everything seems to be going down hill and I’m struggling to be positive.
looking forward to Halloween and then deffo set on Christmas. Think this might be my last!!!
Hi have you joined the Brain, secondary cancer group? I'm a member, having had cyberknife treatment in 2013 for a brain met.
Once you know the results of your MRI scan, things will become a lot clearer ( pardon the pun)
Let us know the outcome please - or post in the other group, as above.
Sue
