Hello everyone-
I had my 6 month post chemo CT after ABVD for stage 2A. Some of my original nodes were swollen again on the CT. Doctor is thinking it could be from covid vaccine based on look of the nodes. I received my 2nd Pfizer shot week and a half prior to the CT but he is still recommending a follow-up PET. Anyone else been in this boat? I’ve been feeling so good and this news has really knocked me down. Thank you and prayers for us all.
Hi again , good that you have been able to get both jabs, I am still a month away from getting my second.
Raised nodes after having the jab?..... I have talked with a good number of folks on this Community and even more on a dedicated Lymphoma support platform who have experienced this, indeed my nodes were slightly raised for a week post my first jab...... but it’s good that your team are being extra careful, I am sure that this will be fine but it does hit the stress button ((hugs)£
Thanks very much. I had read about the nodes in armpit and neck swelling... guess I’m just worried bc it appeared swollen in lymph nodes of original sites in neck. Still praying it’s just from vaccines. Thank you again!
My sister in law (no cancer) had a very bad reaction to her first jab, 3 weeks to recover and her lymph nodes were very reactive for weeks....... so not surprising that is blood cancer folks get a reaction ((hugs))
Hi, I'm sure one of the possible symptoms for Pfizer is swollen lymph nodes. I recall reading it when family members had theirs. But I am no expert. Hope all is well.
