It's been a while since I've been here , and have lost touch with a few people. I'm about to start Stem cell Transfer after my first round of Chemo, and maintenance failed to control the growth of my lymph nodes, I went on to a 4 cycle chemo, and was told that I'd be having R-ICE as a follow up. Is there anyone who has had this and can give me an indication of what I might expect, and also to tell me how their Stem cell Transfer treatment went>
Many thanks.
Kaitak
Hi again Kaitak you may want to post this in the dedicated Follicular Lymphoma support group as this is the Hodgkin’s Lymphoma group and HL is rather different from FL to the point that these folks may not get this treatment and not so many go on to have Stem Cell Transplant.
We also have a dedicated Stem Cell Transplant support group - this a good place to connect with others who have been through Stem Cell Transplant. I have had 2 Allo (donor) Stem Cell Transplants fir my type of NHL….. you can see my story through the link below.
