Hiya, I was just wondering how long it generally takes on average between diagnosis and the start of treatment? I know it will vary but was just trying to get a rough idea.
I've had an appointment through for my CT scan next Saturday but not heard about the PET scan yet.
Hi again Davesmum
Unlike Non Hodgkin’s Lymphoma where for lots of folks can go a period of time on Active Monitoring…. Hodgkin’s Lymphoma tends to be treated rather quickly. So once your scans are done and your team have a clear staging you would expect a treatment plan to be put in place but the treatment plan will depend wholly on your stage.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
