Travel insurance

I use the Nationwide Flex Plus package account and that covers me worldwide for everything except the cancer at no extra cost.

Do you have to mention you’ve had cancer ? 

Yes but some companies will give you cover for everything else. I should imagine you have to be pretty confident you are fairly fit. I bet they could attribute many things you could try to claim for to the cancer and its treatment long term effects

I have used Insurancewith, they are very reasonably priced. Yes, you do have to declare cancer, and any other medical conditions you may have.

Yes even if you don’t want it covering you have to declare for at least 5 years. I used staysure whilst I had to declare it. They were reasonable u never had to claim but ut was fully declared. 

we go away for up to 10 weeks so wouldn’t travel without it alongside the gh1c card but that doesn’t cover USA from me memory.

Yes I do declare it and always have done.  I think the only exception is if the last treatment was over 5 years ago.  Each company will have it's own rules so you need to check carefully.

Like Peter, I have a Nationwide FlexPlus account which includes, among other things, travel insurance. I used it last autumn to travel to the US and was told that as long as I hadn’t been receiving cancer treatment for a year I didn’t need to declare anything so there was no additional premium. I also get breakdown insurance included.
