Pet scan results

I had a PET on Weds 6 March.  They had initially told me 2 working days but when I was on the unit they said to allow 3-4 working days. I did email my Macmillan Nurse on Monday 11 March and they called me with the results on Tuesday. 

Hi Turin inhad mine 4 January with resukts 14 January I was given my appointment by oncology on the same day as pet Ct scan.  Maybe worth a call. I was told they actually tookm3 days but then needed reviewing by mdt that meet weekly.

I was about 12 days....PET/CT then follow up appointment with oncology.

I’m an outlier so pointless telling you how long it took( a long time)

But I’m happy to elucidate if you’re interested  

PET results are generally available to the MDT in three days. Your appointment will depend on when your team meets to discuss it. Things are taking longer these days though. 
I would think that two weeks is a realistic time frame.
