  1. I’m Lots of you probably know or have accessed this but thought I would share as it helped me so much.  I’ve never had therapy and never thought I would need it but after my diagnosis I really struggled so started the 6 week telephone therapy sessions with Macmillian it was a life saver while I was recovering from surgery. When this finished I then started the telephone buddy service, they matched witg someone same age as me and with HPV but cervical not oral. This also has been brilliant and taken pressure of family as I’ve been able to chat to her about my emotions etc which she totally gets.  Blush
  • Thanks for that. I’m glad it helped and really useful to know that counselling then refers you to the buddy service.

  • Hi I used them too. Even though my scans were coming back clear, I couldn’t get past it might come back, and I was driving my family mad. The counselling service was recommended to my by the good people on here. They really helped me, and gave me coping strategies. I would also recommend the counselling service
