Sorry put post on wrong site . Today got my results confirmed cancer in neck lymph node.It is HPV which in reading some of the blogs and replys has a good recovery rate.I will be having a petc scan and may need my tonsils removed plus chemotherapy and radiotherapy.That been said I will sleep a bit better tonight Thank you to people who replied to me and for support and advice as it has helped in a very stressfull time

Sad news
Good news is that the condition is treatable with cure rate in the 90% range.... tough treatment.... stick with this forum all on here have walked the treatment walk....lots of further support and advice during chemoradio treatment and recovery

I found I slept really well once I was diagnosed. I had tonsillectomy and then chemo & radiotherapy. Can't pretend that the treatment is not hard but you can do it (even when you think you can't)... This Forum is amazing - you will find answers to every issue / concern. We have some brilliant champions on here who are so knowledgeable and the rest of us are here to support and help however we can :-)
