4 weeks and no chemo shouldn't be too hard on you, especially if you are fit and prepared. The last week and the first few weeks post treatment will be challenging but not much is likely to happen for the first two.

You might even be a candidate for a trial that involves self monitoring after a year so you will avoid this frequent reviews, if your hospital is enrolled.

Take each day at a time. I wasn't looking forward to the side effects but I really wanted the treatment to start as for me it was a way of feeling I was dealing with it. See this as the beginning of the end for the cancer that decided to visit it. Each session will bring you closer to saying goodbye to it. 

Look after yourself mentally and physically. Don't forget we are all here for you.

Good luck with your treatment....Oncology teams will keep you right...if you have issues do not suffer in silence ...tell them and they will help
