Hi all
I wanted to just let you know - I went for a biopsy today having finished my 30 radiotherapy sessions and 2 chemo at the end of sept. I was told my pet scan showed the primary was clear but I needed an ultrasound scan and neefle biopsy as there maybe viable cells.
But when I had to my ultrasound I was told a biopsy wasn't needed as no issues.
Next stage is 3 month pet scan to monitor.
Great news having been treated in April 2023 - it's been a long road - but such a relief now.
I wanted to post this as I see so many people suffering -it might pick you up a bit to see that it can be a happy ending - or so far so good.

Oh well done Rachel. I know how you must have felt. I had an avid PET and had to have a biopsy. All clear like you.
