Ok, heading for 2nd chemo tomorrow. Last week was a heavy week for sure, I seem to be coughing out my tumour which feels like a good thing. I managed to have s fall, landing on my forehead and spent the weekend in bed. It all points to a need to take very careful care of myself. I can tell things are happening. It really feels like I’m expelling the tumour through my sinuses and revolting though it is, it must be good. The journey continues.

  • Be careful Steve. CRT takes a lot out of you. Be kind to yourself and take it easy. Xx

  • Hi Steve

Wow you were lucky that the fall was not serious. That could complicate things.

Radio and chemo can make you feel very weak for a while. I felt fairly unstable on my feet for sometime and used to hold onto my husband's arm when we went out. I had never felt that I was going to fall previously but it became a bit of a concern for me for a while so do be very careful. That instability did pass and I have no issues now.

Good luck for your next chemo.

  • Thanks Lyn, I know I was lucky and I hope it’s not going to complicate my treatment. I guess they’ll tell me tomorrow. It won’t happen again, I’m very sure of that.
