Mmac, I’m with Belfast as well, finished in Jan. As luck has it I am actually due my 3 month check up this afternoon so I will ask ENT consultant and let you know
They don’t. Somewhere between 20% to 40% of patients develop hypothyroidism.
They don’t tell you about keeping an eye on carotid arteries either. I worked the thyroid bit out, knowing my anatomy and the fact that submandibular salivary glands lying just above your thyroid, are slaughtered by RT. The damage to your blood vessels I learned from a post here from
