So went for my first post remission consultation yesterday and consultant not happy with neck being hard and sore so rushing me in for ultrasound/fine needle job this week. Hoping it is just scar tissue / lymphedema issue but better be safe... never dull is it!
I think they always ere on the side of caution. Fingers and toes crossed that it's just the area recovering from treatment.

Hi Gene they always err on the side of caution, don’t read too much into anything please.we all have a lot of swelling and stiffness after treatment.Keep us in the loop.
The consultants always want to be sure and is an ultrasound is what they want just go with the flow.
