Steve: Tonsil Cancer HPV16. Discharged 14 March. Now on regular checks.
Well, I finished my treatment on the 20 January, and I was discharged on the 14 March. Since then I have been on follow up appointments. A few weeks ago the consultant didn't see anything untoward, and life is returning to normal. Outside of the ubiquitous dry mouth everything appears to be healing. I had an MRI scan recently and the phones did not ring off the hook. A little tired, but life is returning to normal. Even took a holiday.
Hello Steve Cat Dad
I am pleased to see that your treatment has gone well and that life is returning to normal. Great that you were able to take a holiday. I think it is reassuring to have people post about how they have had the cancer, been treated and are coming through the other side. So thank you for sharing.
