I’m halfway through my six weeks of radiotherapy for SCC left tonsil and left lymph nodes. I was warned that my sense of taste would be off, and I haven’t tasted food properly since week two, but recently I’ve developed this revolting taste in my mouth constantly. Just wondered if anyone who’s been through this, had any ideas for alleviating it, if only temporarily?

Fizzy spring water is good for cleaning your mouth and at least making is feel better. Diet ginger ale and cola too.
Peter's link is good once you have finished and are beginning to eat

Thanks I tried the Spring Water yesterday but it didn’t help, I’ll give the cola a go though as that sounds like it might work! x
