Struggling with the hanging around. One more scan on Monday then just to wait and see what they say.
Im really worried they say it’s terminal I mean it’s driving me mad.
I know it’s hard but there is nothing you can do so please try not to stress about it. There’s no earthly reason given the symptoms you’ve described previously to indicate it could be terminal. Can I suggest you leave the internet alone. Put your trust in your wife’s team and go and give her a cuddle.

Thank you both, she said she can handle being ill if they now they can fix her that’s the hard part x
That’s the difficult part. After self diagnosis I got my affairs in order left instructions for my husband how to run the house and organised my funeral. So I really do know how you feel. My husband had more faith in the NHS than I did.
But my consultant sat me down with my consent form and said he would cure me. So far he has. once you and your wife have a treatment plan your feet won’t touch the ground as a well oiled machine takes over. Keep the faith. This cancer is eminently treatable.

Hi I looked back at your previous post and there is nothing in your post to suggest it has not been caught at an extremely treatable stage. The only people who will really know are your clinical team with the benefit of the diagnostics, but many of us have personal experience of this cancer.
I think all partners struggle far more than the patient throughout this stage and probably into the treatment stage. It is perfectly normal to feel how you do. After all your wife is more in control of her body and wishes than you are. I describe it as my wife just coming along for the ride to support me in my decisions and my treatment. That may sound harsh, but that is the reality.
My wife has been amazing - and you will for your wife when she needs you. We are here to support you and answer whatever questions you ask and gently offer some guidance.
After that last scan, come back on here and tell us how it goes and when you expect the results - I would guess 10 to 14 days later.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
