Anyone know anyone who has had this for palliative
There are quite a few people here who have gone down this route and hopefully might pop on with some advice.

I have a contact who has been on Nivolumab for four years after his tumour drastically reduced then disappeared.

Hi Spencerbear , I was given a terminal diagnosis but also put onto immunotherapy for HPV-related tonsil cancer which had spread to my lungs. For me the treatment was a game changer, and by two years later all my tumours are no longer detectable (although I still have regular CT scans to check they've not come back. If you are able to have the treatment (that is you have the needed biomarkers (your oncologist will do a test), I'd definitely recommend it. Side effects are not predictiable though; some people have no side effects, others may get really bad stomach upsets (for example) and I think for a substantial minority the side-effects can be very severe. If you need any more advice, I'm always around. Anson
