Hating to go on a negative vibe, but has anybody after completing treatment for hpv tonsil cancer , have any of you experienced an unsuccessful outcome. If so what were the next steps to possibly a successful outcome. I'm at the stage where this might be the case for me and waiting to hear from the head and neck surgeon as to what he feels should be done next. I'm thinking the worst as I am in such a lot of pain in my tonsil where I had the treatment, which showd no signs of improvement and it was flagged up in bright green on my PET scan.
