Hi everyone,

Just a quick question , I know it's different for each of us but how long would you say your throat was sore after treatment? After 10 weeks I find that some days it is and some not , depends if I've been doing a lot of throat clearing ,I still use difflam too.

Been a tough week ,trying to get my head back on track !

  • Hi Spider. I was pretty good at 12 weeks but got breakthroughs now and then till six months....recurring ulcers

Even now six years later I'll get a seasonal sore throat more quickly than I ever did

    Hi Mark

20 months on I still get little throat niggles....I keep a Difflam spray handy....our head and neck area took a lot of punishment....little things we eat and use can cause irritation to the area.....

It is a tough treatment and recovery....hang in there.... it will get easier.

Hi Spider, I'm almost a year clear and I'm constantly clearing my throat.. and throat still feels tender at times.. That's my 'new normal'.. so don't feel down, you're over the worst of it, but be prepared that some things might take longer to shift than others.
