Biopsy

We all get confused over dates sometimes.  At least you did not miss the date.  Talk to the surgeon or his registrar.  The will do much of the pre op paperwork and will be happy to explain things to you.  Throughout this has sounded like a "belt and braces" biopsy to confirm what the previous examinations have indicated - nothing to be worried about in terms of a cancer.  You should get the results in a couple of weeks, but often the surgeon will speak to you when you come round and give you a quick summary of whats happened.  You may still be drowsy at that stage so don't be afraid to ask for them to repeat or clarify anything they say.

Its awake with local in the clinic

Then that is nice and easy.  All my biopsies have been long, invasive and under GA.

He said cud have awake if he can't do it will have to do it asleep i hope he can do it ok dont fancy waiting again thanks for the reassurance

I hope your rigjt peter i do have earache but think thats linked to me eustachian tube dysfunction
