Cyst

Your Dr is being thorough. It’s good that he is. 
Imagine if he told you he had seen something but sent you home telling you not to worry. 
He’s doing the investigation to make sure his benign diagnosis is right. 
Most referrals ( 90%) are not cancer. 
You will worry so try not to look for answers on Google. Keep busy, enjoy Christmas and chase them up in the new year if an appointment hasn’t arrived. 

Thank you i do hope he is right i have read google did scare me but also a lot of sites said most cysts are not cancerous will try to enjoy chroatmas 

Hi 90% of referrals aren’t cancer keep off dr Google you’ll drive yourself insane. GP is doing right things I’ve a benign cyst on my vocal cord nothing to do with my cancer but was found during a camera up nose and down throat . They weren’t worried and 3 years later I presume it’s still there. Please don’t let is spoil Christmas.

He says it dksnt look suspicious so why does he need to do a mri and a biopsy thats the bit thats scaring me as if he isnt tellng me something are cysts usually cancerous ?

I alreaady been checked by ent and it was him that put the camera up and said that he saw the cysts but it dosnt look suspicioie juat curious why he needs a biopsy an mri

Because they'll have seen something, and will just want to be 100% sure. It's good that they are being so thorough.

Easier said than done, I know, but try not to worry too much and enjoy Christmas and avoid "Dr" Google.

What worries me he is ent do they deal with tongues 

Yes they do head and neck cancers including tongue throat  neck tonsils encompass the remit of ent. My local hospital has a maxilla facial dept in same area. You’re in good hands.
