Hello..
I'm very new here and just here as a bit of an outlet and to be in the company of people who may be going through something similar.
My partner aged 40 was diagnosed with cancer in his cheek approx 18months ago after and it's been a fairly devastating journey since. He was having chemo and radiotherapy this time last year, got what turned out to be an inaccurate 'all clear' in January, was quickly told it had returned and was growing in an unusual way, and is now deteriorating quickly despite having started immunotherapy.
After a week or two of him being very unwell with serious facial bleeding, it has rather hit home that there probably isn't going to be a happy ending to this story. As a couple who hadn't been together too long when he was diagnosed, it has also been, and continues to be, quite difficult to navigate the personal side of things.
I won't go into too much detail as it's not very straight in my mind at the moment (I blame a serious lack of sleep!) but like I say, I'm just here in the hope of writing a few things down in understanding company

Hello
Really sorry to read this. I can’t imagine how you must be feeling. This is a good place to throw down what you are thinking and feeling….whatever it is…or even if you don’t really know what it is. In the short time I’ve been aware of this forum I have seen, and been on the receiving end of, nothing but kindness and helpful advice. Thoughts are with you both.
Liz
Bless you, and your partner, its never easy to reply to posts like this, i wish i could wave a magic wand and make life better for you, as Dani mentioned the other groups on here might be able to help you get through this difficult time. Please take care, Hugs.
