This Friday will be 17 weeks post treatment, get the results from last weeks MRI next Friday….wahooo 
Anyway, I’ve already psyched myself up for them to suggest I may need to wait another 3 months? The inside of my mouth is still so sore and my cheeks swollen, the insides of my cheeks come right into my teeth, is anyone else like this? I look like a hamster when I smile (pleased to be smiling again of course!!).
Not convinced I’ve got rid of the thrush yet either!? Having had 3 courses of antibiotics. My tongue is disgusting ie ‘furry’ and horrible colour. Dental hygenist told me to brush it, but I can only touch the front, my gag reflex is more sensitive than ever, any ideas would be much appreciated?

ps to all the newbies out there…..eating is still a challenge, but can’t believe I’ve actually got here, feeling so very much better and positive about life once again

I feel your pain with regards the ‘furry’ tongue.. I'm still struggling trying to keep my tongue clean... tried flucozonole and nystan multiple times, but I still have a grubby tongue.. I hope it will improve with time, or maybe I'll be given another dose of whatever.. chewing gum is a short term fix I've found, but we've come this far with the worst behind us.

Ive never been a fan of chewing gum, but perhaps I’ll give it a try x
