Hello,
I'm just wondering about my universal credit. My partners wage is taken into account however he is not entitled to any public funds as per his visa. So I recieve funds for me , my 15 year old and my 2 year old.
I work part time and get a top up but not childcare entitlement.
My diagnosis was given on the 2nd April and I have tests on the 12th which then are used by the MDT on the 18th to decide severity , treatments etc...
I it too early to inform universal credit , do I need anything more from the nurses or hospital to prove this ...I just don't know what to expect.

Hi Sally. It would definitely be worth ringing the helpline and there might be something useful here www.macmillan.org.uk/.../cost-of-living
