congrats on completing your radiotherapy treatment, it’s a wonderful feeling when it’s done isn’t it. Now it’s time for you to relax and heal a bit more. As for your free planter, I have one too, but your idea is great.

Thank you guys and the bees for your advice during my therapy and before. For those who are just starting all I can advise is go with it take the meds if required and if you have a mask don’t fight it. For me all I know is that I go back to see my consultant in two weeks to see if it’s worked.
I get a review and no doubt he’ll have a scope up my nose. Followed by a ct scan at the minute there all talking apart from regular checks I’m done. I was lucky bought very early and it’s very small.
Hi in my case my petbct scan was18 weeks after treatment that was the inky way that could determine that the treatment had worked. If scanned too early often hot spots occur then it’s either rescan in 3 months or do a biopsy to ascertain if it’s inflammation which it often is. Next steps we can’t have further radiotherapy so it’s dependant on what and where any cells are remaining. It’s a question for your oncologist there’s lots of variables .depending you may have a neck dissection or immunotherapy or indeed further chemo. Hazel
