change of treatment

hello,

i went for my cancer chat today, sadly because everything has been rushed forward by a couple of weeks, the info form everyone is patchy and sporadic, but i cannot fault all the nurses and dr they have been kindness personified towards me, which is a tad bewildering considering where i live, where verbal abuse is the norm from the people here, still ongoing with the stranger, harassing and trying to get a reaction out of me so he can start on me, the mind boggles at people like this.

anyway, i have had a change in the chemo treatment for this friday, they are now going to give me DOCETAXEL and CARBOPLATIN, because the lump is now the size of a small village on the side of my neck, has anyone any experience of this chemo treatment? i know everyone will be different on their reactions towards it, but i am loathe to google it just in case it has -will cause loss of limbs or head to fall off or something else as equally over the top and misinformed.

very much appreciated yet again
