Hey all, I am in remission now from October last year, I have had the all clear to this month which is good news, my main question is  am I still classed as having a disability if I am all clear.

i have had a neck dissection also tors back of throat tonsil removal with chemo and radio.

  • Hi I’ve just passed the 5.5 year point I was classed as being in remission up to the  5 years mark. Now I am classed as all clear. I’ve never thought of myself as having a disability.

Were you ever classed as disabled?
Are you all clear or in remission?  There is a big actuarial difference.
Like Hazel I was never classed as disabled while I was in remission

  • good evening Bones1981, i would say no if you were not claiming disability benefits, well done in getting the all-clear, wishing you all the best.
