Got fitting the rig on Friday...came home yesterday , doctor wouldn't check wound and just discharged me and said radiotherapy will check it and doctor has to remove stitches in 10 days ! I keep getting what I can only describe is a bubble that is painful it moves around one side of my stomach then pops but I feel like it's popping through the wound .. has anyone else experienced this . It comes and goes but heck is it painful
Hi Draper, it will take a few days to settle down, I had a lot of cramping with mine for the first few days. Take some painkillers regularly, to keep on top of any pain. The RIG is a good thing to have if eating gets difficult, during your treatment, I know mine was a lifesaver, I was 100% reliant, on it for about 10 weeks. Any questions just ask, someone will always answer if they can. Good luck with your treatment.
Ray.
