Just had the result of my post-treatment PET (taken at 12 weeks). No sign of cancer in Tonsil, lymph nodes or SCM muscle BUT activity/hot spot in the lung requiring urgent EBUS (camera and biopsy) and back to oncologist in three weeks. Struggling to be positive about this.

I had a hotspot on PET which was not cancer on biopsy. PET picks up inflammation as possible cancer so fingers crossed it’s all that it is. Hugs

Hi Mark Has Dani as said hot spots do occur and 12 weeks is early for pet ct scsn. My pet ct scsn was week 18. They pick up any inflammation that’s present fingers x for you that’s what it us. Its easy to say don’t worry just try to keep bus
