My cancer is right side of tongue and right floor of mouth.
I had a visit today from my SCN and the lovely big boss doctor from my hospice who both said that the the tumour has grown quite rapidly and is now starting to obstruct food and liquid going down my throat. And just thinging about it, probably my air way too.
This has been quiet a shock and have given me a short time scale
Anyone else have this and what was done to help.?
But.... Me being me, a stuborn 'ol cow and not one that gives up quickly i'm looking for other solutions,
I do have a RIG, but that is playing up big time at the moment. Which is in hand and hopefully being sorted in the next day or two, so if it means being fully RIG dependant ... again that's ok with me.

Oh Cat. So sorry.
Is your team considering a tracheostomy to help you breathe? You can get trachy tubes that enable speech. My son in law has one as his airway was badly damaged in a fire.
