So, last Friday I was informed that the 3 month post treatment MRI was showing all clear!
Saturday, my GP updates my records with my Qfit results:
Quantitative faecal immunochemical test (Xaf0H) 13.6 ug/g [0 - 10.0]
Above high reference limit; UKAS accreditation against ISO 15189 standards is pending for this assay.
Patients who are clinically high risk for lower GI cancer should be referred using 2 Week Wait without the need to use FIT.
FIT >= 10 ug/g with or without symptoms:- HIGH RISK - refer using 2 Week Wait colorectal pathway.
Is it possible that I am on my 2nd cancer this year?
Oh dear, so sorry. Hopefully not. Fingers crossed.
Have you a GP appointment?
