Water ! That’s one positive I kept with since treatment as I never really drank enough of it beforehand . I struggled with everything else tbh . But that first proper coffee afterwards will go down in history.
Hi Herbal tea peppermint cooled to start with. Then I went on to Luke warm boiled tap water. Eventually I couldn’t cooperate with our tap water too much limescale we live in a hard water area. Now it’s bottled water by choice or filtered tap water as tap water nstraightbfor me is too harsh. Flat Diet Coke helped with mucus or soda water. Majority of my hydration went in via n g tube from week 6 so it didn’t mattter as I couldn’t swallow it. During treatment I aimed for zz2.5 litres daily niw I probably drink 1.5 litres Hazel x
Hazel aka RadioactiveRaz 35 radiotherapy and 2 chemo 3 rd cancelled. HPV tonsil cancer 7 lymph nodes. 8 years post treatment living a great life. No questions too daft to ask.
