I’m still not sure I have cancer but my mouth is painful full of sores bleeding etc, I’ve had a biopsy having a ct scan tonight and mri scan next week, it’s a waiting game I think that’s the worse maybe once I know for sure I will deal with what’s thrown at me or am I being naive? Staying positive whatever happens x
HI and sorry you have to join us on this forum. Let us hope that the biopsy results are negative.
The waiting and planning stages are probably the most fraught as you have little control at this stage. DO NOT Google your condition as most information is out of date. Results are generally a very high cure rate using a very tough by equally doable treatment regime.
Stick around as there is a wealth of good advice from those that have been before you. Take heart that there are many on here have many years past treatment ending and living a changed by good quality of life.
Hi Tiadora hopefully your biopsy and scan will come back negative, however if not, we are all here to help you along the way. Just ask on here someone, will always help if they can. You are right you will be able to tackle anything that's thrown at you. All the best.
Regards Ray.

Good evening Tiadora, please stay positive as this will be a great help whether its good or bad news, i never had much discomfort or bleeding with my three cancers mine were either lumps or discovered by scans and biopsies. I know i say this a lot on here but just take things a day at a time and try not to look at Dr Google as before you know it you have every illness under the Sun. Fingers crossed for your scans and biopsies, take care.
