Hi all wonder if I could get some advice please . I am now 2 weeks post treatment, 30 radio and 6 chemo . Approx how long before the mucus starts to ease up . I think I can detect a slight difference between last week and this but it’s only slight . Thank you
Hi Alan. Mine dried up suddenly at around 4 weeks to be replaced by little saliva. That took months to improve.

Alan, at two weeks you are right at the height of short term side effects. The RT effects peak at 2/3 weeks after treatment end. This is a generalisation but people tend to feel a bit better b y six weeks and turn a significant corner at twelve. BUT we are all different. You're over the worst. It's now a slog to get better
