PEG wind pain

I've done a search on peg pain, can't find anything relating to trapped wind and bloating. Prg fitted a week ago, pain levels receding and I'm not using it to feed yet but the air in my stomach gets so painful as it moves around....even exiting through the incision!  Anything anybody can recommend to help with this....I'm not adding air bubbles during flushes but bloat every time I eat or flush and have moving air all through the day and night.

  • Hi. I never had a PEG but I know people who did and got some help taking buscopan

  • Good evening, i sometimes have trouble with trapped wind and apparently, peppermint tea helps because of the peppermint, as Dani said Buscopan might help. A consultant also prescribed Infacol when i had trapped wind but sometimes it can be just a case of taking too much feed in one session giving that bloating feeling. Hope you manage to find a solution, take care.
