I have recieved a phone call from the hospital , they want me seen by ENT tommorow morning. I'm keeping every thing crossed but nervous. Wish me luck I will let you know how it goes.

Your story has passed me by somehow Sarah so I don't know your background, but wish you the very best tomorrow.

Metastatic SCC diagnosed 8th October 2013. Modified radical neck dissection November, thirty-five radiotherapy fractions with 2xCisplatin chemo Jan/Feb 2014. Recurrence on larynx diagnosed July 2020 so salvage laryngectomy in September 2020.

Hazel aka RadioactiveRaz 35 radiotherapy and 2 chemo 3 rd cancelled. HPV tonsil cancer 7 lymph nodes. 8 years post treatment living a great life.

Thankyou papillon Mike and Hazel it means a lot to know you are all routing for me and everyone else who has wished me well . I'm not scared of what will happen just anxious about what they say , I know I deserve what I get I have been a smoker for 24 years a low smoker of 6 -10 a day and a wine drinker but always thought if anything I would have lung problems never thought of my my throat and tongue ( stupidly) have always had a fear of going blind but never ever thought about my tongue! ( stupid) I know but it is what it is . Will find out tommorow hopefully . Thankyou for being there for me .

Well we all done unhealthy things in our lives so don't be to hard on yourself. Let as no how you get on good luck

Good luck for tomorrow Sarah. Just because you have lived an unhealthy lifestyle does not mean you deserve what you get. I’ve never smoked and drank very little, but don’t think I deserved to be in a better position than those that did. Thinking of you
