Just popped in to say my treatment over here in Spain has begun. 30 fractions and 2 possibly 3 of chemo. I felt nothing during the procedure but was pretty sore immediately afterwards and could only manage half a bowl of soup last night. Took all my meds and went to bed. Woke up this morning with a really dry throat and needing the toilet but (and I hardly dare say it!) the pain I normally have on first waking was not as intense. So I’ve had an oxynorm, some water and a coffee and am going back to bed in a much happier mood! I know it gets better before going bad again, so I’m making the most of any respite I get! First chemo due on Thursday. Hope everyone is ok and looking forward to the heatwave!
Well done. First step.
Yes we are hearing of huge temperatures your way. I have a friend in Extramadura and she says over 40 degrees expected.
Won't get this high here of course, west Wales might get high twenties. That's good enough for me. I need some warm sunshine for the bees to make honey. They are running on vapour at the moment

Yea it’s a nuisance. I keep asking for a two step process. The mods will see it and put it back. Don’t worry
Keep cool and all the best for your first week.

It's ok khrys i have done it a few times and that's with thin fingers Must admit I don't like it too hot as I'm getting older. Thanks for the update, keep the oxy-norm handy as it is reliable pain relief. I just noticed the way you spell your name, all the best.
